You can turn your messages into templates for easy reuse later. Here's how:
- Go to the Messages tab.
- Select the message you want to save as a template.
- Choose Message > Create Template from Message from the menu bar at the top of your screen.
Your new template can be found in the template chooser.
Templates that are saved to your Mac will be available to any other Direct Mail project that is edited on your Mac. Templates that are saved to the cloud will be available anywhere you have signed in to Direct Mail.
Editing templates after they have been saved
The templates that you save are immutable. This means that the template cannot be edited once you have saved it. If you want to edit a template, you need to make the changes to a message and then save that message as a new template.
Deleting templates
You can delete a template you have saved. Here’s how:
- Go to the Messages tab.
- Click on the “Choose Template” button
- However you mouse over the template you want to delete an X will appear in the left corner.
- Click the X to delete.
